I wasn't looking for another Magnolia photo so soon, found this one bloom staring back at me at the river pier the same morning as recent sunrise posts. I like the soft lighting.
I wish I knew the parts of a flower so that I tell you in a better voice how much I like your detail on the part of the flower in the center, standing straight up. I never get my macros to come out in such clarity. The petal shadows falling on the lower petals is also quite good.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.

LOvely lighting and it seems like pointing at the watcher LOL
10/10 in VB of course.
Your magnolias are quite later than ours and equally charming !!!!
AAAhhh....caught it in the VB and had to circle back to comment. Lovely, Elizabeth, I really enjoy not only the subtle lighting, but the even subtler shadowing. Nicely presented.
This is absolutely gorgeous, Elizabeth! As mentioned by the others, the soft lighting and clarity is wonderful! I also love the earth tone colours in the background, that makes the bloom really stand out! Faved & saved.
