Forgive the quality. Getting five birds in action is beyond my ability. A lot has changed in a few short days at the Green Heron family hang out. Now both parents are leaving them on their own to explore. When they return all havoc breaks loose. In this, after a small meal one parent led them away onto other branches, it was try to fly or get no food. One got left behind.

I think this has exceptional clarity and focus for all the squawking and hopping around. Did the runt every figure out how to fly and get some food?

What are they all squawking about? Nice capture considering they are moving around like hummingbirds. Do you have Sports Mode on your camera? That should take care of some of the blur. Thanks for sharing this shot of the little critters.

I believe this must have been a difficult shot as it seems slightly out of focus but i am glad you shared it with us.
Apart from focus it is truly i very intresting photo of nature in the raw well done.

Family chaos. Not limited to homo sapiens it seems. lol I can't image you could get all five to be still at once. You did better at capturing them than I could have that's for sure.
