A very close shot of the alligator, he was too close to compose the way I wanted so I decided to manipulate him. Farther out of the box. I think I see Shadows... The Reckoner

Great choice of colours for the layers. To my eye the layers catch the eye more than the original which I found a bit distracting - then again there's not much point pushing the envelope if you produce a "normal" aesthetic in the process. Full marks for experimenting, 'tis the way to learn.

I think it is very creative. Sometimes in order to make an image work, we do have to play with it a little and see what we can come up with. I like this. Hope you do well with it in the contest

I think Mikel is very correct with his observation concerning the aligators eyes. I count atleast three versions - orange, red, and blue and I am debating (with myself) if there isn't one on the upper left side too.
I like your work. It looks to me that there is an eating frenzy going on. Even though their mouths are closed, within seconds they could be chomping down again on some poor animal who has strayed into their arena. Elizabeth, you have so many talents. I look forward to seeing what you will be coming up with next. ~~ JOhn
