I saw three large birds out of the corner of my eye, then it dawned on me... red head... Sandhill Cranes? I needed to be home, but I turned around. By the time I got back, they were heading to the woods. I only got a few shots before they moved out of sight. I left my turn signal on when I stopped, when I was going to pull away...blue lights in my rear view window...

Oh no, did you get a ticket? As you said to me, "the things we do to get a good capture" I really hope you talked your way out of getting a ticket. It's like a sickness, Gotta get the shot, no matter what. LOL Very nice capture and I never saw a bird quite like this one.

A good capture of the sand hill crane Elizabeth. I think if you showed the cop this image, He would have to let you go on your way. Great post, Saved
