Reddish Egret in the tide pool. I think I may have stumbled upon a "training pool". With twenty or more birds lined up on each side, running and flying back and forth while fishing. It looked like a large group sporting event.

Look after the wildlife folks
I love the reflections in the water. I think this one is warming up for the high jump. I don't know how you tell a egret from a heron. This is a beautiful capture Elizabeth.

This is another great shot the only bad comment i would make is the head, that is the top of the head, seems to lose it's detail with the flat water surface.

This one does best in full-size, where one can appreciate the detail of the heron itself.
I wonder if your "training pool" is Heron Kids Camp or is it for Grownups to let their feathers down, so to speak. Fun catch!
