Checked-out your link Elizabeth and suppose this sculpture is made by a chainsaw artist as well. Somewhat strange to me to see such a wonderful sculpture close to the shoreline.
Very fine post.

what an exquisite sea horse carving Elizabeth...for a moment I couldn't remember what the thing was called...I could only think of sea dragon that is related to the seahorse just looks a little different
A beautiful seahorse sculpture with a lovely background. Nice image and link Elizabeth. Hope to see more of these fantastic sculptures. Great post.
Thanks for sharing
An impressive sculpture and a superb capture! What a beautiful scene behind this sculpture! Colors, clarity and that amzing sky are just gorgeous! Excellent shot!
Wow, Very neat! I would have like to see the artist make this sculpture, it sure did come out beautiful, and you did a great job in capturing it. I like the water in the background, it really sets the mood.
Hey!!! I know that beach!!! Spent a lot of time there at Kessler AFB. Have they opened up the other lane yet? I love this sculpture..Don't think they were there when I was there. Beautiful capture and a beautiful place to be.
What a neat sculpture. We have a few artists here who do chairsaw sculptures, but none I have seen can hold a candle to this one. Nice capture. Such a nice finish to it.
I understand there are several places along the coast that sculptures such as this and other types were made following some devastating Hurricanes. I suspect this is one of those. Very good post Elizabeth.
I gave this high marks in voting. The sculpture is wonderful against the beautiful sky and water. Thanks also for the link - such amazing works of art created from the destruction of a hurricane.
Hello Elizabeth....There is no doubt that simplicity in a photograph certainly works and you have certainly showed that in this image.....Well done Elizabeth...All the best to you.....Mick.
What wonderful sculpture! I like the details in it , as well as that wonderful sky. I think I might have off set the sculpture. Placed it more to one side. I find it a little distracting in the middle of the shot. But that is only me. Lyn.
Very fine post.
