While waiting for the visitors to leave the swampy area I was watching the juvenile green herons, I wandered, these were growing along the edge. I did like the soft focus this time, but couldn't quite make up my mind about where the best crop would be. Any and all suggestions welcome! Some Friday music.. Nightingale

Overall, a pleasant image. I'm thinking a bit of work with levels, and a warming up just a bit of the white balance might really push this image alot further ahead. As is, there's a bit of a magenta haze/hue about it. Nice detail on the flowers themselves.

Please, even if you don't visit my gallery, check out my "Faves".I've left them intact since day "1", and would like it if every image there got the attention they deserved.

These flowers look like musical instruments.. they play music for me.. maybe they could use a bit more deep colour but I certainly do like this photo.. the light is great! Mich

Pretty flowers and a very nice and soft capture. I'm afraid I'm not help when it comes to cropping for flowers. I can't get it right for myself, much less trying to help someone else. But I do like the focus and color. Very nicely done.

A good foofy capture, Elizabeth. Those trumpets play some nice music but it kinda sounds like a guitar. Great post

No need to crop much further, I would say. At the most you can clone out those petals on the left top corner. Lovely flowers - I like those soft light purple shades.

I think you were drawn to this when the breeze allowed the trumphets to send their soft song on the wind. It is a very good capture and I enjoy the color and the softness.

I agree with Ramad I don't think you need to crop anything more, but if you did clone out the top left leaves, I think it would be just a little better, the flower are lovely.

What delicate and beautiful flowers. It's perfect with the branch and leaves nearby. I agree with just getting rid of those leaves at the top left corner. Other than that it's a perfect piece of art. Wonderfully done, Verena

Nice to see plenty of helpful suggestions being made, no reason we can't help each other out like that. I reckon your crop is close to perfect, perhaps bring the flowers just a few cm closer to the bottom of the image so they are not so obviously sitting on the centreline.
