Gautier Park Pier, you can head to the Singing River from here or out to the Gulf. A big surprise, record lows in the 60's in July! Cool and quiet, found the Clapper Rail here as well.

Wonderful wonderful sky...feels like it ought to be an oil pastel! But after the sky, I found myself looking at the composition. I agree, the composition is great. Details? I like the bits of tall weeds (grass?) breaking up the strong horizontal on the left very much!

I really like the curve of the grasses and the Singing River. It gives this such a musical feel and sets a great mood. Lovely colors.
The steely gray color makes it look cooler. It is unseasonably cool here as well.

The sweep of the water, with the grass, pier and tree line, along with the reflection of the beautiful sky form a beautifully composed photo. Kudos!
