You always have the best looking skies around E~. I like this scene. I would guess it was taken at dusk with the amount of traffic. I stayed in Pensacola for a week in the 80's and we drove down there. Beautiful part of the world. Another good post.

Elizabeth, this is so original and unique. I love your concept of recording a sunset over the city's highway and shopping area. Most unusual.

You have such beautiful sky images. Both sunrises and sunsets. Wish I could say the same. Maybe one or two a year is all I can view. You do a wonderful job with these wonders.

How absolutely wonderful to have a place to go that is so high. There are only two high places in my town, and one has now view but manages to obscure the view of the other. Lovely shot, I like the way you got the lights to make stars.

I'm trying to figure out just why this shot works so well. Of course the sky is great, but there's so much more that holds the interest. That long line of tail lights trailing out to the horizon for one or maybe it's the kitschy night lights. Your comp is a winner for sure!

That is such a cool juxtaposition of your usual gob smacker skies and the urban 'scape. The disappearing highway is spot on for the comp.
