This picture helps me understand the true size of those birds. I have never seen one before, only in pictures. This is another example of your true talent and the composition of humans, machines, and bird all going to work is marvelous!
Now this is different and quite an interesting scene. A lot going on and a good look at what happens on the shoreline as the sun rises higher in the sky. Nice one, Elizabeth. I really like this.
It looks like a Norman Rockwell painting E~. I love it. I knew it would be nice to be around when the area came to life. Thanks for showing me. Those almost silhouettes are perfect.
Excellent work.
The heron is very clever and perhaps lazy too. It's waiting until a fisherman has caught a fish, lol.
Very fine capture again Elizabeth, well done.
Regards, Cornelius.
This is a wonderful scene. I wish the herons around here would get within arms length. They look so elegant even in silhouette. Looks like a great place to drop a worm and relax the day away. Very nice.
I like how the clouds look menacing but the fisherman are so chilled out with out a care in the world.
The heron on the pier looks on in anticipation of one catching a fish.
Colours in the sky so suckle and soft very nice photo and that from a fisherman who wishes he was there. 10/10
Now I am inspired to shoot the fishermen on the banks of the Rappahannock on Sunday mornings... if I can get a decent angle! Lovely shot; I like "slice-of-life" things that are in ordinary days. Bet the heron was as interested in cast-off bait as he was in doing his own fishing! :)
Now that is THE life!!!! Wake up...grab the cooler and sit on the docks fishing. Beautiful scene and typical for your area. Most people would only hear about this kind of morning.....You get to live it.
