From a visit to a very minimalistic zoo last December. I called him Jack because of his happy go lucky attitude. I can't say I am drawn more to B/W's but since the photo was dark and white already... I am on the fence with this since his original pink nose seemed to offset the dark eyes. Additionally I cloned off his collar, so... maybe I didn't deform the poor animal too much.

I'd say you did a good job with the collar. I like the black and white effect, especially like the way his hair curls up and out. Good one for the contest.

I've heard of Jack Black but never Jack in Black, since he is white it's fine for a B & W pic. He is a handsome furry fellow.
very cute Liz!

I'm behind on my comments from being sick the last few days, but I will catch up as soon as I can.
I think it makes a sweet B/W image. Well done and good luck to you.

Good job all the way, Elizabeth. Those eyes are so big and beautiful even in B&W. Sure is a furry thing, isn't he. Very nice picture.

Elizabeth, I just wanted to say that this is an outstanding black and white. The llama or alpaca or whatever it is looks very dramatic , almost like a modeling shot! Haha great post!

He will probably run away now that he doesn't have a collar. He also looks like he has a chew in. Maybe it is a Redneck Jack in Black. Fine capture E~.

You did a wonderful job with the cloning. I like it in b&w as well. Gives him a really soft look.

I think his curly coat echoes the grass in the background...and yes, his lean, tall ears are repeated in the fence posts! Friendly pic!

Awww I think that is some kinda precious look on that face! And you captured it perfectly too. I love the lashes and the fuzziness of his "fur" I guess you'd call it. Lovely photo> V

I am going to have to get faster on my comments. I got a nose bleed going this far down on your list! lol. I would stay on the other side of the fence rather than being on it. That critter looks like it may bite!!
