From the same January sunset, this was only a few minutes after. Still amazes me sometimes how quick the changes can happen. This is for Sharon aka / sharonva who just informed me she is laid up recovering from an automobile accident. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

What a beauty of a sunset and Sharon should be honored with this get well card E~. I like how the sky is split in half with the coloring. It translates well in the water. Get well Sharon.

This is such a lovely image, very tranquil and quiet, and what a lovely card for Sharon. I'm glad she's recovering... I'll put in a good prayer for her.

Another beautiful image from you, Elizabeth, no surprise. This one would actually have been a great entry for "Orange." And thanks for letting us know about Sharon. My next one's for her. My prayers, too.

The first rule is: Remove the lens cap! The second rule is: Always take a litter bag in your car - if it gets full, you can just throw it out the window.

I am honored and humbled by this incredible picture. Not only is it of overwhelming beauty, but so thoughtful of Elizabeth to explain my absence. I am deeply moved by the wonderful comments here and I thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers. My ankle was broken into several pieces, involving the joint. At the moment I have no idea how much mobility I will have when it is all over. For now it is rather tedious as I cannot put any pressure at all on it. I am practicing hopping! Seriously.
