Same herons from Island Birds XI. A lot of fun watching the routine ... after they score they separate from the rest, bring their catch to tide pool to eat alone.

Perfect focus as usual, and the birds caught in a "story-telling" moment, again as you always do. Are they spreading their wings to dry them, or are they just showing off to each other perhaps? The shadows are nice in themselves.
