This is just an amazing image! I love the the coloring of the pelican and how his bill is just slightly touching the water causing a ripple. The reflection are very nice as well. A really great image.

What a handsome fellow he is! So different to our local birds. They do have that same crazy crew cut hair style though! Love the dappled waters and the distorted reflection.

Okay, forget what I said about getting some tips from Paul Gerritsen for top-drawer, National Geographic-quality photos of skittish birds. You don't need any tips; this is exceptional. The lighting, colors, reflections off the wavelets, and you got it tack-sharp. 10/10.
