Found this magnolia already in seemingly faded glory. I did enjoy the natural with it's golden tones but decided to play with some various filters and contrasts. Made me think of Verena with her floral images and bloo of course...

The bloo colors and the textures DO remind me of Verena and her beautiful work. I see she has been an inspiration to you, Elizabeth. This is really nice...I love the totally different look. Excellent.

Elizabeth! you sure gave me a surprise. I am so happy that you experimented a bit. And I love how this turned out. The soft bloo-ness is perfect for this(you know me and bloo real well.lol) I really like how the black the little stamens show up. Thank you for thinking of what I do with some of my flower shots. It's fun eh??!! Congrats on your own creation! Verena

I love it! You've turned a photo of a fading flower into abstract art. Very nice on my desktop.

Hi Elizabeth
Nothing wrong with some experimentation! I like how it came out! Love the colors and how you made this look. Bloo is so nice!

I like the result of your playing very much. It looks like a painting and would be lovely hanging on a wall.

Nice filtering work, Elizabeth, you've turned it into a piece of art. I'm not sure I would have know precisely what kind of flower it was without you telling us. But then again, I'm from the frozen north and we don't know from magnolias (other than Dolly Parton, Shirley Maclaine, and Sally Field). :D

Oh this is divine and so very lovely! I am reminded of some of Monet's work when I see this! I also see that Verena loved it, as I do! Hoping you will delve into the filters and the creative side again soon :) It is now my new DT. Faved.
