i really like this one. the low tide is the best for hunting for shells, which is my other favorite activity. i think the deep colors and composition are wonderful in this one.

Very beautiful looking photo love the colours and the oil rig with the light is a very nice touch top the scene too.Plus the reflection of colour in the water are beautiful such a warm looking place but at the same time lonely but nice lonely if you no what i mean.Well done to a great capture.
Your sunrises always have the steel gray look about them. I really like that look. It does look as desolate as cold E~. It will be here before we know it.
A rather familar scene to me Elizebeth as it resembles very much the banks of the Western Scheldt in my country.
Saved and Faved this great post. Thanks for sharing!

Hello Elizabeth...This is indeed a beautiful scene you have captured...You have to go to the top of the class with this one....Well done...All the best to you Elizabeth...........Mick.
Amazing scenery, especially the red in the sky :o)
But if I may....
It's a pity that the pier(?) is half on the picture, because it doesn't do the picture right. It would have been better if it wasn't there...in my humble opinion ofcourse...
This is a great capture. I like the depth created by the oil rig and the heron on the shore. I think that the boardwalk
and building give the image perspective and add to its depth.
A very tranquil scene yet allot to take in.From the reflective pool to the red in the clouds , things line up so well like the boat house and pier.Excellent composition and light..
Nice mix of glowing reds with lighter pastels and soft greys. The silvery pond (lake?) is a nice secondary focal point, breaking up the darker shadowy portion of the frame.
