This must be the loveliest garden at this place. I thought Asian on seeing the red bridge. There must be stairs inside the bridge to allow one to cross. Such a beautiful sight.
Another great photo of the bridge and very strange to look at too,it is so clear and sharp and considering half is reflection this is one cleaver photography.Love the colours and all the greenery in this photo as well.
Allison... I like elements of both! I do like the flowers in the other pic that Stan mentions (but for me there is something missing to the right of the bridge... and I love the rock in the reflection of this bridge! Which to choose? Perhaps somekind of blend/collage of the two... :o)
It reminds me of the old Tunnel Of Love scenes where the boat with the couple disappears into the dark of night E~. Excellent contest entry. The reflection is just too good.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . Looks like a great location for some long exposure work Elizabeth, Ill send over some of my light toys if you dont mind spinning a nice light orb on top of that bridge please. Loving the composition of this shot and those reflection really stand out great work.
This is my preference of the two shots...mostly because of color balance, although, compositionally, I suppose the other shot has more interest. I am always more "into" color than anything else! Great pics, both!
I love this picture. The reflection makes the shot. One suggestion would be to compose the picture so as not to cut off the reflection of the bridge and distance it a little ways from the edge of the shot. It would then form a perfect circle. To bad the branches at the left are obscuring part of the bridge, but not much you could do about that. Most people don't carry around tree trimming tools around with them :). A wonderful picture, nonetheless.
