Taken two weeks later, the clear skies were a bit harsh. Azaleas are gone but new blooms and fuller trees.

Beautiful color and the bush provides even more color. Are you puzzling over an entry for the contest? I'd go with the other for drama, but they are both quite beautiful.

What a stunning looking photo, the colours and shapes in this shot are lovely and the bridge forming a circle in the lake with the reflections adds a very nice effect to this shot.

A really beautiful scene Elizabeth. That bridge is one bright one for sure:) I do like how your perspective integrates the color of the bridge with the colors in the flowers on the right. Nicely composed:)

Yes I've noticed the new blooms, & very good they are too. Is that a turtle I see on the rock ?

The turtle resting on the rock adds to this beautiful scene E~. I think just a drop of contrast would add some more to this but it is just an opinion and we all know what people say about opinions. I will be interested is seeing which one you chose for the contest.

This is a very cool spot and you've done a nice job presenting it to us. Your framing is spot on, great reflections, and the turtle is a nice touch. I agree with tick on the contrast - just a bit of a bump would add to the image but I disagree with wolf9 on the shadows. You need to have darkness to have light - IMHO. Nice piece of work - well done -

I love the clarity and balance. Is there a turtle on the rock to the left? Nice job.

The red half circle bridge looks very Oriental, neat how it makes a full circle in the water along with the eye catching red bush to the side What a peaceful place to visit
Elizabeth!
