I believe this was from late March. The painting program I have been experimenting with is from Media Chance, Auto Painter. There is a wide range of results depending on how long you allow it to run, the setting you choose etc. I liked the reflected azaleas in the glass light fixture. You have to visit Bellingrath Gardens as early as possible to beat the crowds in spring.

MediaChance seems to pride itself in that when the painting is reduced in size it still looks like a painting! I downloaded the free-trial version& info... the full version costs $50 US and is available for Windows or Mac. Clicking on 'Try it for free' gets you the windows(XP/V/7) version otherwise click on Mac or i???.

Elizabeth... you can tell I like it! :o)

Has much resemblance with an impressionist painting, Elizabeth.
Fine artwork.

Sea and I are thinking in the same way E~. It does look like impressionism. Very good work.

It looks like a painting from a French artist in the 19th century I do the the pink azaleas and wrought iron lamps along the path... very Parisian looking I do like this creative work of yours Liz..why it got only a C-51 I'll never understand

I thought your first image was created with Media Chance's Auto Painter. I downloaded the trial version a few weeks ago & haven't had the chance to experiment with the program.

I like the result you got with this scene ... I nice blend of colors & the pink flowering bushes stand out so nicely. Beautiful & creative work, Elizabeth. This image gives me inspiration to try Auto Painter.

Alison i am so loving your work right now. Ive seen so many of these paint effect shots in the voting booth today and ive loved every one but this is one of my favorites! It is so quaint and chinzy and has such a country cottage feel to it. Very Cath Kidson i feel :) I would quite happily frame this and put it on my wall. Awesome!
