I am really unsure what this bayou is called. I took the photo from Bellview Ave which runs from Main St to the local high school. Which made me think harder about the differences or not from swamps, bayous, marshes, sloughs and bogs. : ) Since the river is near, I chose bayou.

I like the line that is formed in the minds eye from the tree line on the left to to top of the tree on the right. It is like a curve on a graph that shows improvement with a recent upswing.

Well this is a cracking looking photo i love how the shot is broken up into to parts with land on the left of the river and the right.Plus the river helps to draw your eyes down the river and to the stunning colours lining the river side. the depth of field and focus is a 100%.

Some lovely reds in there, Elizabeth. I like the way the tree line runs from the right side in a semi-circular fashion along the frame indicating the limits of the waterway. Nice color.

There is a marsh that looks very similar to this that I walk to from my house :) You captured it well!
