I have the Blue Eyed Mary for Foofy Friday! These flowers are actually tiny~smaller than violets~but can really color the woodland floor! I have had the best time capturing all these foofies. Here's some info on this tiny beauty! This species can spread quickly, and can reach 8 to 12 inches in height. The plant has a stem that snakes across the ground, giving it the alternative name creeping forget-me-not, and typically grows in the shade of trees. Even though it tolerates minor levels of disturbance, this plant is an indicator species of high quality woodlands.
