Like your thought and composition with this. Also the lighting is perfect for this kind of subject IMO. Unfortunately it is very blurred and diminishes the wonderful textures and colours in the fine wood grains. May I suggest a re-take? Same composition. Use a tripod (if you have one). I like this as a study. It seems you have an eye for composition and would like to see more. Welcome to Caedes.

First off, welcome to Caedes, Kimberly!

I agree with nearly all of the above -- you have a good eye for composition and perspective, things are just a little out of focus... Can you re-shoot?
