Taken in August 2006 at Waikiki Beach on Oahu Island, Hawaii. This is a resubmission since I felt the original submission cropped out too many details.

At 800x600 this is breathtakingly beautiful and one can see the sky and the water. At 1024x768, sadly one loses most of the water which has the wonderful lighting and silhouettes on it. The sky is magnificant and it's a beautiful Hawaiian sunset so not to worry but this one sure would look great if the water was visible at the higher resolution. Exceptional beauty here and thanks for sharing it Brett.

I've never been to Hawaii. Is it really this beautiful? Gotta get there some day if it is... and the ocean is always beautiful all by itself. Thanks for this shot as it makes a great desktop too
