Good shot although the sun was not your friend. I see a hint of white clouds; possibly a filter might bring them out a bit.

Things are more like they are now than they ever were before.
You've captured some very nice colors in this shot and did pretty well bringing out details in the shadows areas while maintaining some of the color in the sky. The image seems a bit tilted to the left, but a nice shot.

Hello, Andy...
There's some real potential in your image. Great, deep colors, some excellent foliage and the lake reflections could make for a really nice composition. However, the first thing that I noticed (as noted in the comment above) is that the shot is leaning to the left. You could use some noise reduction software on the photo as well. The lake area immediately below the canopy is very grainy with noise. The background color is fantastic, but the sky is nearly white with overexposure. Practice makes perfect.
