So happy I am once again the first one to comment on your lovely photo. I have always loved how beautiful this fruit is, plus it's so delicious. I like how you placed it on the white plate also. I do think a bit of the plate should have been more pronounced tho, the part in the back of the fruit. It's fantastic how you got the seeds, the flesh and little greenery at the top to be so sharp. I like this very much Robert. Looking forward to the next one.--Verena
Looks delicious! The colors are nicely saturated and the focus is fantastic! I might have played with composition and angles a bit, but overall, a great shot.
I love the idea behind this one. If you could darken the color of the pomegranite (the greens more green, the reds more deep) plus make the plate a little sharper, this would be a gorgeous image.
Keep it up!
nice pastel colours, its a shame you have cropped the edges of the fruit, my personal oppinion is you should have either captured the whole fruit, or focussed in on the seeds area with a macro lense. but very nice, i keep meaning to take some pomegranite photos myself but never get round to it!
Great color and detail but I must agree with Ted on the presentation. I'm thinkin' that a landscape presentation would have shown it off better. Still, very nice work -
The pomegranate is superb - color and clarity portraying great detail. The plate and table cloth beyond the fruit blends, losing identity as separate items, perhaps due to lighting. I think I'd include the entire fruit if this were my photo. This said, the photo has many positives. Thad
