Fried Plantain with Red Chili Sauce & Roasted Peanuts

This is a native of the Bannana and is called Plantain, it is a larger greener starchier variety that is used in African cooking. It is fried like hot patato chips and dipped in sauces. Another recipe I grew up with. Tastes mighty fine!

Oh my Robert! That looks yummy. I have never had it fried, but I would love to try that. And I wonder what the sauce is made of. Wanna share that with me? I like the colour of the plate you used. And the light is great on the lovely food. Here we spell it Plantain. This is wonderful. Verena
