I took my camera on a photographic trip to the Abbey Museum Annual Medieval Tournament. I was able to capture this cannon as it fired. You can see the fragments of the charge flying out from the mouth of the barrel. It took a few goes and on the last firing I got it

Well done for capturing the moment so precisely! The image makes an interesting subject,but because it is interesting I would have liked to have seen a bit more of the cannons - their complete wheels for example - rather than the quite drastically cropped view presented here. On the plus side, the colours are good and the subject is nicely in focus.
