We were walking along a bush access road in the mountains range of North Brisbane when I spotted these strange white fingers pointing up from a fallen log on the side of the path. Next day we came back and I got down and close and photographed them.

I've never seen anything like this. It's truly a fascinating sight. I'm not sure the panoramic view works with the shot inasmuch as only a single pillar is truly in focus. I probably would have cropped the shot and offset the middle finger. I would have darkened the background and softened the focus somewhat. Here's a quickee edit that's pretty sloppy but shows the intent. Your posting shows a keen eye, but sometimes less is more. Let me know what you think.

I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

People aren't going to remember the things you do. They're going to remember how you made people feel. Be kind, gracious, and appreciative. Dan Winters - Photographer.
