First, I really like the offset placement of the center of your flame here. Something I think should be considered more often with Apophysis, if I may be so bold to state here.
You achieved some nice depth and there is good movement in the overall design as well.
Floral? You bet.
And as I mentioned on the challenge thread ... to my eyes, a highly impressionistic look and feel. Monet would be proud if he had dabbled in fractals. ;o)

And thank you very much for another contribution that gives others more of a taste of what can be accomplished with some effort and creative talent.
This makes me feel like a kid when I used to be able to sit in a chokecherry patch and feel like it was my world. You've sparked my imagination with this one!
"The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place; from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape, from a spider’s web." Pablo Picasso
I am honoured to be listed as a friend or to see an image of mine as a favourite, but I keep lists of neither. This helps me appreciate images uploaded by strangers as well as friends. Please understand that a failure to reciprocate in kind indicates a lack of appreciation for neither gesture nor work.
