The sepia gives the image an "old fashioned" look, thus justifying any remaining "jpeggyness"...Good change...

I agree. The focal point has so much more impact in sepia! It is such an interesting building and I'm so glad you gave it this treatment. The only different thing I might have done would have been to 'letterbox' the image to remove the sky and a bit of the foreground, but it is difficult to always fill that 1600:1200 space exactly as you want it isn't it?
