Took this a long time ago while in Philly. Finally had a few mins to myself to work on some photos. I think editing photo is helping relieve some of stress. Let me know what you guys think and thanks ahead of time for any comments.

Adrienne - The incredible architectural details surrounding the statue are captured beautifully. As beautiful as they are, the columns, pilasters, modillion and frieze draw the eye around and away from the statue. Being one who loves architecture, I am enjoying the view. To focus on the statue, which is the object of your photo, I wonder if cropping a tighter image of the statue would lead to graininess and loss of crispness. What Philadelphia building is this from? I don't think I could state it any better than Thad...or even come close for that matter. Beautiful job, Adrienne.

A great shot and I do believe editing can be a stress reliever, Adie. I suspect you are taking a lot of baby photos as well. The picture really speaks to the heart. Good post.

Such a fine image, Adrienne. I found Thad's comment interesting too, but maybe you wanted us to see the beautiful architecture as well as the statue. Nice shot!

There is so much going on in your image that I do not know where to begin. So here I go. I think that your composition is
really solid (no pun intended). The lines are amazing; directionally, some set in, others out, textures, square columns, round columns and then after all of that there is the
statue. Could all of those lines be an extension of his
thought.........
