so is that you in the photo then? would make a nice self-portrait, especially if you're trying to say something about your soul with all the moving people and all. great shot!

I was asked to give a comment on this shot. I'm only an amateur but I'll give you my honest opinion.

The picture shows the vast inside of NYC Central Station with a man in the right bottom corner standing against the staircase railing. It sure is an attractive subject (...not the man; I mean the whole photo is interesting! :-)) There is light, space, ambience, and motion all depicted very nicely. You immediately and easily capture the mood of a bustling busy train station.
The light is very impressive (just the right amount) and with such a low shutter speed this can be quite a task at times. The depth has been very adequately relayed: not only you get a sense of how big and high the place is, but also you have many details including the gentleman in the right corner (as a bonus!).
The only big problem with this shot: skew. The frame seems to be tilted/rotated clockwise. However, this is not a huge problem -i.e., not an integral, vital defect- as some simple rotation and cropping will fix it.
Overall, I'd give this shot two green lights and an amber one. Nice shot!

Sincerely,

Rokh

I was asked by Caedes too, to comment on your image. Although Rokh says above he's just an amateur, he's right so I agree with him. It doesn't make sense to repeat his remarks. The only thing I still like to say is that with a good photo editor, for instance Adobe Photoshop, some shortcomings on this image can be eliminated, exept the blurry persons (perhaps it was your goal to make them blurry to give us an impression they're in a hurry). Nice image anyhow.

Great photo! Central Station is probably the nicest train station in the world, thanks for sharing :) Happy Easter!
