I know the story of Tymon.
Beata found him very sick and blind. He became more or less well but remained blind. The kitty died however due to complications of so called cat's flu after a year or so.
You should watch their big Alsatian, Torus, trying to make him play and placing a ball in front of the cat, who could not see it.
