It was only after painting this that I was told of the old, old expression "Tall drink of water" referring to an extremely tall person with a deep bass voice.

---Yes, you too can have a snazzy Holiday Icon like this, just step outside, face southwest, and holler at the top of your lungs .. "Hey, Avatartans of Aussieland, Help me." ... and somebody will be there shortly, it may be the police, but it may be the 'AoA' representative for your area. ... really.
I'm so thankful for TNI on this site because I simply don't have time to look at all the images in the permanet galleries and, thanks to TNI I caught this one. This is superb work! After I put this in my favorites folder, I'm going directly to your gallery. Nice to meet you!

I do like this!! I like your style in art! It is very interesting, I like the title also! Very detailed, are you an illustrator for children's books? If not, you should give it a try!
I really laughed when I saw this one! I have this same problem with every drinking fountain at the school I attend. I live in Phoenix where people seem to be a little shorter than average. being 5'9" in my bare feet makes drinking from a low fountain so akward! Water doesn't flow uphill very well!
Well, I, too ... just found 'you' via the featured images on the site's front pages.
And I felt compelled to take the tour of your galleries.
Wonderful work. Another hidden treasure of Caedes for me, so to speak. Glad I found you. :o)
Looks like watercolours? Do I have that right? Forgive me if I am wrong, regardless ... in my very humble opinion, I always thought that that medium lent itself very well to illustrations.
Combining the textures of the paper and colours that result ... the images are indeed lighthearted, bright, colourful ... and lend a certain amount of whimsy to the creations. Such as your excellent work here.
And I couldn't help but notice that you do not post all too often. Hopefully, you will grace the pages of the site once again. I truly enjoy work such as yours.
So ... a sincere thank you for sharing your talents and creative efforts with 'us'. :o)
