Although the long exposure time (10 sec) eliminated the features of the moon itself, it lit up the sky enough to catch the silhouette of the trees. The stars were a bonus. :-) 9:34 PM.

You finally got it posted! Awesome presence of the clouds here. It almost looks like a daytime shot into the sun with a very short exposure. Thanks for sticking with it :) How did you eventually get it to work?

Hello Beth! I really like this shot and the idea is a great one. I would like to see more of these. A few more clouds and maybe some seeded grass in the foreground framing the moon would be neat. I like the silhouette of the trees and the cloud detail in this shot. Who needs sun to catch a beautiful landscape? Not you;-)
