Can't you just reach out and touch those trees. It feels so surreal with the shadows and textures. This makes me feel Spring is here with all those wild flowers. And the children in the distance quite agree.
What you call wildflowers is what I call wild mustard, Frank. I'm allergic to the stuff, and it's all over the hillsides here on the Central Coast of California. At this time of year the grasses in the hillsides are losing their green and will soon be brown and ready for wildfires. This is also the time of year that the hills are filled with the yellows of these plants.
As for your image, I can't find anything that bothers me. The kids in the distance are a nice touch and everything seems to be sharply focused and quite lovely. A solid 8 from me for what it's worth.
Frank, this so appealing, the children in the distance adds something to this one, I really like it, it has an almost painted look about it, and it's a wonderful post. Tigs♥ =^..^=
