The glass-like reflections are quite mesmerizing:) Overall this is a unique and fine photo - it keeps the eyes moving and tricks them a bit but at the same time is very peaceful.
My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
Frank, I quickly faved this one in the wee hours last night but had to return to comment...I love the mystique of the swamp and the b/w really adds to that mood...in addition, I really enjoy the lighting streaming through the trees...great work.
You sure have gotten a real winner for the Challenge, love the play of lighting and shadows, excellent detail and composition. Now is water from flooding or just a swamp, they don't look like Cyprus trees
