I enjoyed this capture. It was in deep shade so I used the flash at 1/8 th power. Gave it a nice sunlit effect.

I think this is a spiced bust butterfly, but not sure there are some that are so close in how they look. Using the flash was a great idea. This lovely butterfly was in good form too. tigs=^..^=

Wow, breath taking close up and those colours are gorgeous - in full his wings look like velvet, I do know they are soft but I can almost feel it here
