I referenced a photo of a frog for this illustration. It is nowhere real life as this beautiful capture. But I put my best effort into it. The actual frog can be seen here Frog. I would look at the actual image and paint from memory. From time to time referencing back for some details...so the image will be similar but not exact. The overall composition may be the same but none of the characters will be.

Frank, you should have been here back in 2005 when caedes himself suggested Draw a frog as a contest theme...you would have won all spots hands down...all your frog illustrations have been great but this is the best by far...bravo.
