Here I have sketched a wonderful little owl who not only hunts at night but in the day as well. It is called a Burrowing Owl. It chooses to live on the ground rather than high up in a tree. Finding abandoned burrows and doing its own little interior decorating. I sketched this out in pencil then scan it into Paint.NET where I gave it some necessary tweaks.

The facial expression on this guy is amazing - nicely done. Think he's wondering how humankind is mucking up the environment with our level of intelligence when he could do a much better job himself? Wonderful illustration! Thanks for sharing!
