I normally like to take a sneaky shot of characters like this from a distance. But this guy caught me and wanted his picture taken. Not my ideal pose but I have to say I think this guy is full of character. Hope you like it.

Wonderful portrait. I personally have found that people can be tricky subjects. That't why I mostly stick to flowers... ^_^ You did a fine work here, I guess it would have been interesting though,to have seen this character when he was not posing.

Its like looking at the outside of a book; now I want to know the story; He's got a lot of history to relate.

Wonderful! What's the bucket for? Is this his normal attire? The bag goes well with his colorful outfit too. What about the paint on his forehead? I've never seen anyone quite like this and it makes me want to talk with him and ask him all sorts of questions. Nice job. I do agree with LeBlaze that the colors and contrast could be improved a little I think.

This is wonderful! I love the contrast between the bright colors of the man and his gear and the pastels of the background. I think the depth of color is just right! He does look like quite a character. Great shot.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes
