This is another one of my Indian Palaces series. What is amazing is that all the work has been done by hand several hundred years ago without the aid of technology. Hope you like it.
This really needs to be seen in full size to be appreciated! The point where the ceiling meets the walls is almost an optical illusion, my eye really can't clearly pick up on the curvature. Excellent post!
"'Life is not a journey to the grave with the
intention of arriving safely in a pretty
and well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up,
totally worn out,
and loudly proclaiming,
"WOW! What a ride!"'
"Imperfection is beauty; madness is genius & it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm really better than them."--Marilyn Monroe
I love this. You know, when I visit a place like this I would like to lay down on the floor and take my time looking up and study the intricate craftworks. Try to imagine how on earth they managed to craft a ceiling like that. Amazing right?
