This works in its own way. The backround colors provide a wonderful contrast and the focus is crisp and sharp.

It works on a better level also. As I believe I've mentioned before I feel that one of the true marks of art is whether or not it tells a story, and this one certainly does. The shrewd bargainer, the lines on his face tell of wisdom gained through hard experience, here he could be getting ready to either relax after the conclusion of a hard struck deal or preparing to enter into those negotiations.
