After three attempts I finally found this waterfall..It's near an Old Iron age fort,Really just a huge outcrop of rock with marking on it,located here.An isolated place,I was lucky to catch the farmers wife coming from the farm on her way to Kelso..She directed me,I would never have found it.Located down a steep embankment,The path led down to the river and along to the falls. The path was overgrown and strewn with upturned trees..But i finally made it..Taken with a Sony A500 and 18-55 kit lens..Maybe they'll get better when I invest in better glass..But for now here it is...R.

You don't want to break your arm or leg just to get a photo Richie. But I must say the effort was worth it. Very nice capture with those overhanging branches as additional attraction.

Richie, I enjoy both your image and narrative. It's wonderful to read that even in your well explored country such isolated places do exist.
Thanks for this wonderful post.
