Beautiful scene Count B. Looks like a rustic scene that an old bat would love. I like the glow from the street lamp. Wonderful tones. Good luck, but you probably won't need it.
Gives me the nostalgic feeling to be in the 18th or 19th century. It's like every time a coach and horses can arrive. Wonderful image and a good entry for the 'rustic' contest, Richie.
Awesome! This dark and dismal place is obviously JKR's inspiration for Diagon Alley in the Harry Potter books. There were shops of all kinds - Gringotts Bank which is run by goblins, an ice-cream parlour, pet shops, book shops, magical clothes shops, broom shops, apothecaries and many others. Creepy or what?
Wonderful subject matter, lighting, and atmosphere to this one...just the right location for Jack the Ripper...thanks for sharing...faved and best of luck in the comp.
In your light I learn how to love. In your beauty, how to make poems. You dance inside my chest, where no one sees you, but sometimes I do, and that sight becomes this art. ~Rumi~
Yes, would Jack the Ripper [one quite recent hypothesis is that he was Polish] be likely to appear in a rustic setting, dear Count ? I must agree with PatAndre - by all means great, fascinating, spooky, old, misty and charming, but London is hardly rustic. You better follow OB and reconsider. I love this image - really, but would advise you to change your mind, please ... Yours SAM
Richie, this is one of the most impressive images here at Caedes!! Eerie, captivating and alluring for sure. Watch out for 'bats' and other creeping things.Outstanding work buddy!!
