Who likes Cityscapes.. In the foreground the roof of the Moot Hall,Once all criminal trials were held here before the new Law courts were built.Beyond that and below the Tyne bridge are the old offices of all the worlds shipping lines,Cunard etc:.The Sage to the right is home to the Northern Sinfonia.Further back the Millenium footbridge and Baltic art Gallery. This was a big River. Many songs have been written about the Water of Tyne.

---of all the worlds shipping lines,Cunard etc---

When one says 'Cunard (White Star) Line', for old mariners like me it's a synonym for famous steam propulsed transatlantic and cruising liners like the 'Queen Elizabeth' (I & II), 'Queen Mary', 'Mauretania', etc.
Gone glory, Richie. Don't meant your truck however, lol!

Thanks for this fine image.

Regards, Cornelius.

R. I know Tick will really enjoy this imagery. I know I sure do, lots to look at, and I do see your old truck. Everything is spot on in this excellent city scape, with the marvelous sky, that gives it a 3D effect. Tigs♥ =^..^=

What a fabulous and gorgeous picture Richie!! I've just been thrilled ever since I first learned of the Millennium Bridge and this shot of this scene is so wonderful. I have never heard of Jimmy Nail before but after hearing The River I am an instant fan!! What a terrific voice and the song is very touching. Thank you for sharing this with me........us:)):)
