Ritchie, you have a huge knowledge of the varieties of the birds you photograph. I admire you for that. You have made a study of them. And, you have skillfully photographed them too.
Smile, without a reason why. Love, as if you were a child, Smile, no matter what they tell you Don't listen to a word they say Cause life is beautiful that way. (From the film "Life Is Beautiful")

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
My son has been feeding birds of many species throughout the seasons for the past couple years, keeping track of the species he sees out the window. One of his favorites is the local breed (U.S. Northern Plains) nuthatch, a favorite for their speed of flight and their fearlessness, often staying put on the windowsill as he talks to it as he fills the feeder. While he does have a pretty decent camera in his smartphone, it in no way is able to capture the clarity of your avian photos, Richie. So I'm going to snitch a copy of this one for his monitor. He will love it, I am sure, and thanks in advance for your sharing of it.
