My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust
It is more than your incredible and unquestionable photographic skill and mastery, Richie. It is also that the image contains a charming element of humor and a real sense of the wonderment of nature and sweetly presents the insect as a unique and expressive individual being.
That is the true greatness and distinction of this capture and your amazing photography.
A great catch, Richie, spotting this macro. I particularly like the silhouette of the insect created by the backlighting, something that often ruins a good photo but, in this case, really makes it work.
