A lily flower in full bloom. Picture shot in a small pool at the Getty Villa near Malibu, California. This picture was shot earlier than the other lily blossom I posted prior to this image. The sun was overhead, and unlike the later shot that had the fog to diffuse the sunlight, this image had a higher color contrast.

oh my goodness! I've been trying to capture this kind of clarity using my Samsung 350S 3.2 megpix but I bought this camera without look at the reviews and specs and haven't had much luck with really close detailed flowers. This is a wonderful photographic work.

Wow! That is just beautiful. The clarity here is really amazing and I just love those vibrant colours. Nothing beats a well done close up and I think you've got the "well done". I'm just loving that yellow.

I used to have a handle on life, but it broke...
i love this pic. it's like the flower is about to burst out in color. the centre of the flower is the best part, almost sci-fi like cuz there's like this beam of golden light coming out.
