Joey and a few others expressed a real desire to see this one in Black and White. I have to thank them because I think it turned out great. Thanks for the idea guys.

By the way.... if I don't thank you by message or post, I doesn't mean I'm not truly grateful for your comments and suggestive insight in regards to my posts.
I am waiting to see what Simon Says. Can I type now. You have beautiful girls and they look good in color and B/W. I learned a long time ago not to pick a favorite.
There is a blonde hair across the baby's face that I find very distracting. It looks much better removed. I would then turn up the contrast so it doesn't look so washed. There are a few spots of white in the woman's hair, just above her clothing- various blotchy bits that need a bit of tending. I would remove the spot on the woman's lip and a couple blumishes from her chest. Brighten moms teeth, remove the blemishes on her cheek, smooth out the lips a tad. Sharpen a bit. A small amount of salt and pepper filter via Jasc. Send back to Corel 9 for a tone curve adjustment (slight S) and resample to 72DPI then it is ready to print in LIFE magazine. Is there a way to post it here without using my allocated picture upload?
What a touching photo. You've truly captured a special moment here and anybody who looks at this but (especially mom, dad & daughter) can see. A photo that will bring warmth for many years to come.
